The Torsional Vibration Analyzer was conceived as a field service tool that would aid in diagnosing driveline vibration issues. It is directly connected to a laptop with a parallel port and directly to up to 4 inductive transducers. The software provides tools to calculate rotational displacement, velocity, and acceleration. It also provides tools for order tracking, and multiple channel responses.
Updates are underway to provide USB connection with 4 counter/timer inputs (inductive transducer interface), and 8 universal analog inputs.
